Such wonderful projects for our challenge.  I can't tell you all how fun it is to see the amazing talent that our Shelly's Images friends have.  Thank you for always inspiring us.

Our "Beary" Favorite project is Marjan from Handmade by March.  Marjan, the Design Team and I absolutely loved this beautiful project.  And even though our challenge theme kind of changed because the DT were bad and didn't follow the rules, we felt that this card was perfect for our Neutral challenge!  I love the cute skates and the way you used the paper clip.  Just genius!

Marjan,  I will be emailing you very soon with your $6 gift voucher.  Please also be sure to grab your "Beary" Favorite badge here.

We also have two more awards to round out our Top 3 for this challenge.  These awards go to Leeann from Paper Doll's Creations and Divinity from Scrap 'n Patch!

Leeann, we love this bright and happy project. The contrast of the red, white, and black are so stunning.  And the cute hearts in the corner with the bling are so cute!

Divinity, these are fabulous cards.  I am a sentiment lover and these really are so meaningful.  The clean and simple look really makes those meaningful words stand out even more.

Leeann and Divinity please be sure to grab your Top 3 badge here.

Tutorial Tuesday: Dimensional Card

Happy Tutorial Tuesday!
Anytime I'm scheduled for a 'head-poobah' week (are you thinking Flintstones?  Can you see Fred in his Furry oversized Poobah hat?  =)
Okay, back to the thought - anytime I'm scheduled for a week, I always ask myself, "Self, what would I like to learn today?"
Well, today I have decided to show you how to make this popped up 'dimensional' card.
I LOVE DIMENSION (almost as much as I love BLING!)  =)

But TODAY - it's all about DIMENSION!!!
So here we go!
Grab some paper you want to use - as you can see, I picked a few complimentary papers & patterns.
I started by using my Cuttlebug and my Circle Nestie to cut out the image I'm planning to use (the new Bluebirds image)

I'm putting a border around this image that will be dropped below a frame and several layers of paper, so I took two nesties - one for an outside frame and the circle for the center of the frame.
Below is what the frame will look like once it's been cut out.
So, now we'll cut a hole in the base of the card we plan to use - I used my cuttlebug again and the same size circle nestie that I used to cut out my image as well as the center of the frame.
Below I cut through 2 pieces of paper - the Green cardstock base as well as the patterned paper.
Now that the hole is cut below, I'll begin to assemble my card.
I placed the image below  this two layer mat on the Kraft base.
This is where we start adding the dimensionals - there are two layers, one layer on the print/green layer as well as the Peach Frame that we cut out earlier.
This is a photo so you can see some of the layers.
After the layers are put together, I added some bling, a sentiment, border and a little ribbon to finish it off!
And VOILA - here's the beauty I ended up with -

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial today - I had so much fun making this one, I can't wait to make another one!  =)
Hugs & Happy Days!

Tutorial Tuesday - 3-D Card

Hi girls it's Tuesday again, so time for a new Tutorial. And this time a special fold again, I just love them. It's called a 3-D Card, and perhaps you've seen them already, but didn't know how to make it. I'll show you today.
You don't need a lot of things, only 2 pieces of cardstock (6 x 10 3/4 and 3 3/8 x 6 inches), a scoretool, tape, a digi and some designpapers.
Score the big piece at 6, 7 1/8, 9 1/8, and 10 1/4 inch. Score the smaller piece at 3/8 and 1 1/2 inch.
Fold both pieces as to photo shows you.
Now it's time to decorate your project cause when it's taped you can't do that anymore....be sure to do some backsides also as the photo shows you.
After putting together the big piece, you put on the smallpiece as shown.
Your project is all together now and should look like this, now you can decorate it as you please. If you want to know how mine turned out, you have to come back on Thursday.....when the team has some lovely cards for you. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and you can make one of your one. If you did please let us know, we love to see what you came up with.
